Hello friend,

I hope and pray you are well. Today is Mother’s Day. Mother’s Day is not an easy holiday for me because of the fact that my mother and I have been estranged for about 8 years. It is her wish. I’m praying every day that God would reconcile us again but it hasn’t happened yet. The time hasn’t come yet. However, I’m a mother myself and I love and enjoy being a mother and that’s what I celebrate not only today but every day.

I wish you a Happy and Blessed Mother’s Day. Whatever your situation is, please don’t forget that you have a loving Father in heaven.

Here is my weekly encouragement.

Weekly Biblical Encouragement

Proverbs 31 speaks so beautifully of the honorable and virtuous woman. It describes a mother who works diligently with her hands, who extends help to the poor and needy, who watches over her household and ensures their needs are met.

On this Mother's Day, I hope each mother knows how valuable the role you play truly is. While the tasks of motherhood often go unnoticed by the world, your labor and sacrifice for your family is seen by God. As Proverbs 31 says, "Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her."

In the busyness and challenges of mothering, it's easy to lose sight of the impact and influence you have. But take heart - your children will one day recognize all that you do for them out of love. And your example of strength, compassion and diligence is imprinting them in ways that will shape their lives for good.

Most of all, let this Mother's Day be a reminder that the God who created motherhood sees you and knows the priceless worth of your work. In Him, find rest for your soul and renewal for each new day and task. You do not mother alone, but under His watchful eye and with His ever-sustaining grace.

Joy and blessing to all the mothers reading today. May you experience the deep love of your families and community. But most of all, may you know the peace and comfort that comes from a loving Heavenly Father who celebrates you.
