Hello friend,

I hope and pray you are well. Unfortunately, my daughter got sick with a whooping cough and she has been coughing for weeks. We went to the doctor’s and they gave her something to ease the coughing. She is gradually getting better. I would appreciate your prayers.

Here is my weekly encouragement.

Weekly Biblical Encouragement

In the Song of Solomon, we see the deep affection between King Solomon and his beloved bride. In 4:7, he tells her "You are altogether beautiful, my love; there is no flaw in you." Their relationship serves as a beautiful picture of the love between Christ and His bride, the church. As the perfect Bridegroom, Jesus lavishes upon us words of acceptance, affirmation and delight. When we draw near to Him in prayer and study this week, may we experience even a glimpse of His passionate, pursuing love. Though imperfect, He sees us as faultless through the lens of His grace. As Solomon cherished his bride, so Christ cherishes His own - pursuing us without cease and preparing us as a radiant bride for His return. May reflecting on His love inspire us to fix our eyes steadfastly upon Him.
