Hello friend,

I hope and pray you are well. I’m having a medical check-up on Tuesday. About 10 years ago, I received a cancer diagnosis. Fortunately, the cancer got caught early and I have been in remission since then by God’s grace. Could you please pray for me that I remain in remission? It would help me very much.

Here is my weekly encouragement.

Weekly Biblical Encouragement

For those facing serious health issues like cancer, trust that our Great Physician is near. Even when the prognosis is grim or treatment causes immense suffering, God invites us to cast all our cares on Him. As 1 Peter 5:7 ESV says, "casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." His strength is made perfect in our weakness. Though the road is long and the outcome unclear, take heart - our Heavenly Father knows intimately the number of hairs on our head and feels our every ache (Matthew 10:30 ESV). His vision is not limited as ours. When fear or despair creep in, fix your eyes on Jesus, who wept at death yet conquered the grave (John 11:35, Revelation 1:18 ESV). No illness can separate you from His love (Romans 8:38-39 ESV). May drawing close to Him through prayer and His word lift your spirit daily. And should His will involve suffering, may grace empower endurance. For those around you fighting, intercede relentlessly. Our God specializes in miracles, so let hope rise as mercy prayers ascend. Cling tightly to Him, the source of eternal life and healing, both for soul and body (John 10:10, 1 Peter 2:24 ESV).
