Weekly Encouragement - April 28 - May 4, 2024

Hello friend,

I hope and pray you are well. I had been to the city for a few days with my husband and kids to get new passports for our kids. As we are living in a rural area, going to the city is exciting and stressful at the same time. We have been living in a rural area in Georgia country, my husband’s home country, for almost 8 years now and we are planning to move to the city of another country within one year or so. It might be France, Italy or Spain. We don’t know yet.

Here is my weekly encouragement.

Weekly Biblical Encouragement

forgiveness

As we enter a new week, God's Word in Ephesians 4:32 encourages us to embrace forgiveness: "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you."

While offenses may linger from previous days, we serve a Savior who paid the ultimate price so we could know perfect pardon. His grace frees us to extend that same gift freely to others. When bitterness threatens to take root, remember that through faith in Christ, all debts have been cancelled - both those against us and those we harbor against others.

Choose instead to release unforgiveness and cover offenses with unconditional love. As you walk in the liberty of forgiveness this week, peace will replace wounds of yesterday. Keep short accounts and allow healing waters of mercy to flow. In offering and receiving forgiveness, we experience and spread the joy of our great salvation.
