Hello friend,

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas time.

Usually, I hardly share private pics but here is a snapshot of my family and me at Christmas.

I always feel strange between the years as some things come to an end and there is an anticipation of new things to come. We don’t know yet how long we will be able to stay at our place because we live next to Russia who might attack our country any time as they have done with Ukraine.

There is also much tension in our government as our former president has been imprisoned and poisoned by corrupt government leaders and is in a dying condition. We see it in the news everyday. They don’t want to release him from prison. It’s so bad if you see someone suffering because of evil people. We can only pray that this wickedness will stop.

Even though so much evil is happening in the world right now - God’s love and will for us will never cease. He is always with us. Jesus is our only hope no matter what is happening in the world. We need to fix our eyes on Him.

For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience. Romans 8:24-25 ESV
